Hi,
I've downloaded one of our shared projects, but couldn't check it out despite that my colleague set me as a collaborator. We assumed that it is some glitch, so I removed downloaded project from my machine while he removed it from Team Server and shared it again. Unfortunately, I can't see that project at all now on the shared projects list. There is no trace of it in the blueprint either to suggest that it hasn't been fully removed.
Please advise.

RE: Shared Projects
I'm sorry you are having trouble accessing a project that has been shared with you via the Team Server.
When you first tried to check out the project, can you elaborate on why you couldn't do this? Was the option greyed out in the studio, or did you get an error message when trying it? Do you remember if your correct collaborator role was indicated for the project in the studio?
For the new shared project, you've probably already checked this, but can you make sure that the project owner has you listed as a collaborator again when they open the Share Project dialog.
Also, when trying to download the project, have you tried unticking the 'Only show projects not yet downloaded:' option, in case there is some trace of it still lying around for some reason.
It would also be good to know whether any other users are able to download this project, if this is something you are able to test. This would help identify whether the problem is with the shared project, or your specific local installation.

Gerard
RE: Shared Projects
When I've tried to check it out first time the check-out option was grey and the last icon next to the project on the list was a globe instead of the people. I also get the error message when trying to check out. My colleague, who's a project owner checked that I was definitely set as a collaborator for that one. He tried to removed me and add a few times but it didn't work, the same like restarting WebMaker.
I've tried to unticking the only show projects not yet downloaded and the project is not on that list either.
My other colleague delete that project as well, but it showed on the team list after that. He was connected to the team server while deleting it from my Workspace and I was disconnected.

Kat
RE: Shared Projects
Thanks for the info.
I think it will be hard to work out why you were not getting collaborator status initially, but hopefully we can resolve the issue that is now preventing your project from appearing at all.
My guess would be that some metadata has got out of sync somewhere, so to try and track down where could you please send through the following debugging info?
Firstly, shut down your studio, and then zip up a copy of the .../WebMaker/users/webmaker-db directory.
Now, adjust the .../WebMaker/design/morphyc/VersionManagement_morphyc.xml file to enable some debug logging. Please set the log attribute on the development_logging element (line 10) to true.
Then restart the studio, connect to the Team Server, and open up the Download Shared Project screen.
This should have created some logs in the .../WebMaker/design/blueprints/xlog/VersionManagement_log.txt file which it would be great if you could send through.
Finally, it would also be useful to get a copy of the database from the Team Server. If you are able to, can you zip up a copy of the TeamServerData/teamserver-db directory from the machine that is running the Team Server.
Hopefully with these three pieces of information I should be able to get a better idea as to why you are not seeing the project. To help with this, can you also let me know the name of the project (and it's workspace) that you are interested in.
If you would like, you can send these details via email rather than posting them directly to the forum.
Many thanks,
Gerard
