What are the steps to remove a published project from the server? I tried to delete the directory and received an "in use" error.
This is possibly because the the Application Server (Tomcat?) is still running with all the other deployed application projects, so the application is locked 'in use'.
All BizFlow WebMaker applications run under a single webapp 'bizflowwebmaker'.
You should be able to shutdown the server and then remove the directory, but when the other applications are not in use.
Other publication options that deploy webapps directly to Tomcat or as a WAR, can consider a different approach below.
Set-up the application server (Tomcat) with a 'manager' user. This is not set-up by default for security reasons.
This will allow the application to be removed with a URL such as:
For Tomcat, you would need to set-up a user in the tomcat-users.xml file at: ...\[CATALINA_BASE]\conf\tomcat-users.xml.
You would need to add to add a 'user' element with your own choice of name and password:
