The tutorial application makes remote calls to a set of web services hosted by Hyfinity to try and provide a real world scenario.
If these calls fail for any reason then there will not be any data to display on the screen, which by default causes the 'No data found' message to be output in any repeating table type display.
The Dashboard part of the studio can be used to examine the full trace of the running application to see exactly what happened, and any errors should be clearly marked.
If you continue to have problems with access the remote services, (for example due to proxy server issues) then it is possible to run these services locally so that the tutorial application can be completed. for more information on this, please refer to the following FAQ entry: "Running the Tutorial web services locally".
