Accessibility Features

Hyfinity's MVC enables the generation of web applications that comply with the core public sector and global industry standards including: WCAG, US Section 508, UK eGIF and eGMS.

Hyfinity's MVC enables the assembly of web applications with accessibility features such as:

  • Dynamic detection of browser support for JavaScript with XHTML output adjusted accordingly e.g. select box list with button

  • Full semantic XHTML using appropriate syntax e.g. Association of form elements with labels, un-ordered lists, etc.

  • Comprehensive accessibility options - Access Keys, tab key sequencing, alternative text for all images, etc

  • Allow use of various user browsing methods - Mouse, keyboard, and full speech browser support

  • Enable use of standard testing tools and frameworks

Unlike most alternative approaches Hyfinity's technology enables an HTML web application layered with rich ajax usability features, so enabling cross Browser applications that are not reliant on client 'plug-in' technologies (java, flash, activeX, etc.).

Here at Hyfinity, we're firmly committed to making MVC automatically generate web applications that meet Accessibility compliance standards as possible. To that end, we have used XHTML 1.0 and extensive CSS to control all aspects of presentation.
